Well, we can offer you a full interior design service if you want it - but you don’t have to have it. Many of our private clients are discerning customers when it comes to style and interiors and they come with a pretty good idea of what they want.
We can offer you a specifying service if you want it - but most people like to shop around for the different components of their furnishing ideas.
So what you get with Clark & English is our experience and professionalism in creating your design ideas. Because we are, first and foremost, in the business of professional make-up for professional designers, we are used to working with other people’s ideas and, where appropriate, enhancing those ideas.
That means we do not tell you what you must have but we will advise if, for example, textile choices are inappropriate for the particular window dressing you have in mind.
That means we do not tell you what you cannot do but we will advise if, say, colour or texture schemes could be improved.
That means we will not apply pressure sales of unnecessary additional products but we will suggest complementary fringes, tracks and linings etc, but only if these would enhance your design ideas.
In fact, our purpose is simply to help you realise your design ideas, not to indulge ours. So if that’s in tune with your feelings about what a soft furnishing company should be like, where better to go than where the professional designers go.
